Five states – Arizona, California, Maine, Massachusetts and Nevada – will be voting on recreational marijuana legalization this November. And with just weeks before Election Day, the latest polls show widespread support in all of those states.
The data show that Arizona voters favor legal recreational marijuana at 50 percent, according to The Washington Post. In California, voters support legal marijuana by 60 percent. Maine and Massachusetts are tied at 53 percent support, and Nevada rings in with 57 percent support.
Washington Post marijuana policy reporter, Christopher Ingraham tweeted: “Marijuana legalization is leading in every state it’s on the ballot this November.”
