“People who are open to marijuana use are more likely to have had multiple orgasms (109%), have 3.6% more orgasms per sexual encounter, and are more likely to want to make out at the end of a date (30%)” than their anti-marijuana counterparts, reveals a new poll by Match.com.
The poll data came from an annual Singles in America survey (which is owned by Match.com) that in 2015 polled over 5,500 singles in the U.S.
The poll also found that singles who have smoked marijuana are 151% more likely to already be dating someone, 65% more likely to have a graduate or professional degree, and 44% more likely to be actively looking for a commitment.
“Match is exploring at a new type of relationship – the one between singles and weed,” the company told SF Gate. “For the first time, a dating company is looking at marijuana and the role it plays with singles and dating.”
The tide has turned as marijuana was once a big turn-off for singles, but less so now. Match.com found that singles are more likely to be turned off by cigarette smokers (75%) and heavy social drinkers (78%) than by people who regularly smoke marijuana (70%).
